Utilizing Dual Monitors while connecting to Mosaic Anywhere

Utilizing Dual Monitors

Many users will wish to take advantage of their Dual Monitors on their local machine, please follow the steps below in order to utilize both monitors.  Please take note this will only work if the end user’s local computer has two monitors. Please note: All monitors must be under 4096 x 2048 pixels; and when the terminal services runs on wide displays or when it spans multiple displays, it may display some distorted graphics.

  1. Now press the “Windows” key and the “R” key at the same time. A run command should appear, type “mstsc /span” into the “Open” textbox and then click the “OK” button.
  2. From the terminal services window, type “127.0.0.2:3389”. The default port number is “3389”.  Please have the user contact the PCS group if they have any issues with this process.

  3. Once they connect to a remote session, both local displays can be utilized.
