This is how you place a link to a document instead of copying it from Word. First save the document as a PDF; then upload it to WordPress using the Upload/Inset option above the editor tool pallet. Typically you select the add Media icon (looks like a star). You navigate to the locations of the file and upload the file into WordPress. Copy the URL link to your clipboard that shows up after the upload (if you forget to do this you can always retrieve it later from the gallery of items in the library where you uploaded the document).
Then in the editor highlight the text to establish the link , using the chain icon from the tool bar. Insert the URL in the
