Issue: A shortcut to a folder on the N: drive isn’t working or allowing anything to be saved.
Resolution: Remove the shortcut to the N: drive folder and navigate to the folder by going to Start -> Computer -> N:\ -> (folder path). Alternatively, you can recreate the shortcut by substituting the “\\DFS\” for “N:\” in the folder path.
Issue: The N: drive is showing 0 bytes free
Resolution: This is a problem with how Windows Explorer queries for available space. It should have no effect on usability of the N: drive. If necessary, change the N: drive path from “N:\” to “\\DFS\” to copy files.
