Wrong resolution in NX or console

Problem: The Linux desktop appears as a resolution larger than the NX windows or greater than the cosole monitor can support. Solution: ssh to lxs.uncc.edu and run the command “rm -fr ~/.gconf/desktop/gnome/screen”
