In order to print from Citrix you will first have to print to a PDF file on your ITS network space. If you need help connecting to your ITS network space on Mosaic please refer to http://engrapps.uncc.edu/mosaickb/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Novel-Mapping-Within-Mosaic3.pdf.
We will be using Microsoft Visio 2003 as an example in this tutorial. When you are ready to print you can go to File -> Print and select Adobe PDF as the printer name and click “OK”.
You will then be asked to name the file and choose where you would like to save it. Keep in mind that you are saving it to your ITS network folders and not your Mosaic folders when you do this. Choose a name and a location to save your file in and then click “Save”.
Now that you have saved your file as a .pdf file you can retrieve it from your ITS folder on Mosaic by going to “My Computer” and then opening the V:\ drive. Please remember that you must first have your ITS drive mapped according to the instructions referenced at the beginning of this article.
This will show you all of the folders located on your ITS drive. Navigate to where you saved the file and open it. Once the file is opened you can choose a Mosaic printer to print the file to.
If you have any problems with any of the steps provided, please contact the Mosaic Help Desk by email at mlc@uncc.edu or by calling 704-687-5080.
