The MosaicAnywhere web site defaults to 16bit colors. This causes a problem when running Cadence under NX client which is running under Mosaic Anywhere. Cadence requires 24bit color in order to run. To make this happen, you must manually run “mstsc” from a Windows “Run” dialog box and set the display properties and hostname manually before connecting.

If Cadence IC5 gives the following error in the terminal:
X Error of failed request: BadName (named color or font does not exist)
Major opcode of failed request: 45 (X_OpenFont)
Serial number of failed request: 15
Current serial number in output stream: 30
Then, the 75dpi fonts from http://www.nomachine.com/download-client-windows.php must be installed. You need these to run Cadence anyways.
